Book Journaling, Cozy Books and an Anthropomorphic Book Flight with Sonia Moore (E87)

In today’s episode I chatting with Sonia Moore. Sonia was born and raised in the Show Me state.  She is a Gen Xer with a Dolly Parton wig personality. A former Elementary teacher, current Adult English Language teacher, Jill of all trades, creative, and best darn Auntie on the planet.  Sonia is a lover of vintage things, cozy cottages, hygge, baking bread, spending time with her fella, and of course a good book.

Sonia shares all about the gift and art of teaching (and why they make great podcast guests!) and tips for parents about modeling reading and the readability test for books (teach it to your kids!). Sonia shares all about book journaling. She recommends the A5 journal size with dot paper. As well as her favorite mediums to use when creating, including stickers, washi tape, micron ink pens, watercolor pens, art chalks, crayons and more. Make sure you check out her YouTube and Instagram pages for samples of her book journal. I love her quote about how “anytime spent being creative is not wasted.”
