Neurodivergence, Dyslexia and Reading with Alexie Better (E83)

In today’s episode I am chatting with Alexie Better. Alexie is the founder of the Better Multisensory Learning Centre in Melbourne Australia. She has over 14 years experience working as a specialist tutor, developmental educator, autism therapist, student counsellor and assisting individuals with Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD and other Specific Learning Difficulties. Alexie works with children, adolescences and adults who present with a wide variety of learning challenges focusing on literacy and numeracy developmental along with preparing students for their final years of high school. Alexie is also an adolescent counsellor, who provides practical support for struggling students, parents and teachers.

Alexie gives us all the tips on reading with dyslexia, what to do and who to contact if you think your child may struggle with dyslexia. And most importantly, she gives us hope! That with the right tools and study strategies you or your child can fall in love with reading too.
